Q. How do I purchase a part from ModusLinkparts.com A. For new customers to purchase a part from our site, locate the Account link. The Account link will redirect you to the account build-in section where you can set up your new ModusLinkparts.com account. Existing customers can access their account using the Login link on the front page of the site. Q. How do I check Price and Availability? A. ModusLinkparts.com allows you to search by part number and model. Once you have located your needed part on the site, click on the part number to view price and quantity in stock. Q. How do I determine the correct part number that I need? A. ModusLinkparts.com offers an extensive Model Cross Reference to help you correctly identify the part number needed. Please use the Cross Reference link on the home page of the site. Q. What if ModusLinkparts.com is currently out of stock on the part number I need? A. We offer a Repair and Return program for parts that are out of stock allowing you to take care of your customer needs. Please refer to the Repair and Return Program link on the home page of the site for instructions on shipping the part to us for repair. Q. How long will it take for my part to ship? A. ModusLinkparts.com currently offers boards that are both rebuilt and ready to ship, as well as core parts that must be sent through our rebuilding process. Parts from Rebuilt stock have an average ship time of 24 hours. Parts from Core stock will ship in an average 5 business days. Q. How do I check status if I purchase a Core part that needs to be rebuilt? A. ModusLinkparts.com allows you to log in to your account to view the status of your current open orders. Q. How will I know when my part ships? A. ModusLinkparts.com offers automated email notifications with tracking number once your part ships. Q. What is your policy for return of a purchased part? A. ModusLinkparts.com offers a 6 month warranty from date of invoice on all purchased parts. Under our warranty, claimed defective parts can be returned for warranty service during your allotted 6 month period. See Policy link for further details. Q. What address do I send my part to for rebuilding or core credit? A. ModusLinkparts.com offers a convenient label that can be printed by going to the Shipping Instructions link under the General Information tab on the ModusLink PTS home page.
Q. What if I ordered the wrong part? A. ModusLink Global Solutions understands the difficulty of diagnosing television repairs down to the board level. Request an RMA through our e-mail link and provided you then order the correct part from ModusLinkparts.com we will process full part credit for the wrong ordered part upon return. Complete details will be provided in your RMA e-mail. Q. ModusLinkparts.com offers a convenient packing slip which can be printed and completed to include in your package for repair service. The packing slip can be printed by going to the Packing Slip Link under the General information tab on the ModusLink PTS home page. Q. What is a core charge? A. Some of our parts contain a core charge. A core is a rebuildable part that can be returned for a portion of your original purchase price. Please see the ModusLink PTS Core Credit Policy. Q. I purchase a part from ModusLinkparts.com. What is the procedure to return my core for credit? A. A core label should have been included with the packing slip that came with your ModusLink refurbished part. Put the label with the core and packing according to the instruction link on sending a part in for repair service link. You may also attach the core label to one of our printable packing slips. Refer to the appropriate links under the General Information tab on the ModusLink PTS home page. Q. How long will it take before I receive my core refund? A. ModusLinkparts.com will process a credit back onto your credit card of original billing within 6-10 weeks. |
