ModusLink Repair and Return Program


 ModusLink PTS has developed a Repair and Return Program to support our customers for those difficult to source parts. We originally developed the Repair and Return Program over forty years ago to offer our customers an additional option to satisfy their parts needs. 

 

To take advantage of this program, please utilize the search on our site to verify that we are set up to repair the part.  All parts registered on our site are eligible for the Repair and Return Program, and at a 93% Yield Rate, $ 0 charge (excluding shipping / handling) for product we cannot repair, and an average Turn Around Time of 5 Business Days, our program is a great option in today’s industry.

RFR Packing & Shipping Instructions

1)    Locate a corrugated box of appropriate size

2)    Individually wrap each item that is to be sent in for repair

3)    Line bottoms and sides of inside of box. Pack so that internal movement is minimized.  There should be 3” of packingon all sides surrounding the wrapped part in order to protect against shipping damage

4)    Recommended wrapping and packing materials are bubble pack, foam, corrugated dividers, newspaper, kraft paper or air pillows-for surrounding wrapped part only.  Use polystyrene peanuts with caution as peanuts may shift during transit leaving an item susceptible to transportation damage

5)    In the top of the box enclose a detailed packing slip which can be printed from the link at the bottom of the page or  include the following on a piece of paper:

·         Company name or your name and complete return address

·         Phone number

·         Email address if available

·         Payment information-see item 6

·         Part number and model number of each item being sent in for service. List any accessory items included such as bulbs, cables, brackets, harnesses, etc.

·         If possible please include a brief description of the problem with each unit

·         Type of service requested. (Repair, core credit, warranty)

·         PO or RMA number (optional)

 

6)    We accept MasterCard or Visa.  PLEASE DO NOT LIST CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON YOUR PACKING SLIP.  Please note a daytime phone number where you may be reached for your credit card information.

7)    Tape box shut and address to:

8)  Take to your preferred package shipping company. We recommend that you keep the tracking number along with a copy of the packing slip for your records
